Seven families. One mission. No exit.

BIOFUND
The Commitment

This began with
a scientist's commitment.

"I will cure cancer."

Seven visionary Families heard it and decided it was worth funding — fully, independently, and indefinitely. The commitment grew from a clear-eyed recognition: that curing cancer demanded a different kind of capital — patient, mission-driven, and free from the pressures that cause most oncology programmes to optimize for everything except the actual science.

The science came first. The funding followed — born from a conversation with a scientist who believed, with absolute certainty, that cancer could be cured. Seven Families stood behind that belief. As people who had decided this was the work worth doing.

BioFund is fully independent — no external investors, no exit timeline, accountable only to the mission.

The Families fund an active in-house cancer research programme — the same science that grounds every partnership decision BioFund makes.

The Platform

Curing and preventing cancer
requires both.

BioFund operates an integrated OneHealth translational engine — developing curative biologics and preventive bioactives in parallel, across companion animal and human health.

Companion animals naturally develop cancers and chronic diseases that mirror human pathology — making them uniquely powerful translational models. Veterinary validation generates human-relevant data faster, at lower cost, and with greater translational fidelity. This is how the work is done.

Over years of focused development, BioFund has built the platforms, assets, and capabilities the mission demands. This portfolio is managed by BioFund Ventures and is selectively accessible to partners whose ambitions are genuinely aligned with ours.

How We Work

We build relationships.
The long kind.

BioFund is structured as a fully independent Family Office. Partnership decisions are grounded entirely in mission alignment — driven by the science, the people, and the shared conviction that the work matters.

We work with organizations whose scientific or strategic ambitions overlap with ours — where the collaboration creates something neither could achieve independently. Partnership structures are designed around shared mission and long-term alignment. Science sets the pace. Always.
